A recent report has said that a new bus route has been planned from Mazarrón and Corvera Airport, with plans to create coach services connecting Corvera Airport to the Mazarrón area and Alhama de Murcia. No further information has been released about the route, but it comes as part of continuing plans to develop the airport since the opening date on January 15th of this year.
It is also suggested that a bus service from Camposol will also be established. This is also rumoured to coincide with the start of the summer flight schedules at Corvera Airport. Further details have not yet been confirmed, but is expected that more bus routes and other transportation services may be set up as the airport continues to grow.
The new route will be run by Interbus, which currently operates four routes. This service provides connections with the city of Murcia, Cartagena and the coast of the Mar Menora, as well as the golf resorts in the Campo de Cartagena. The first three routes in this list are operated between two and five times a day, though this is dependent on the current flight schedules.
