Transport services are being upgraded on an ongoing basis at Corvera Airport Murcia.
Flights and destinations served by the airport have been boosted (almost to 2019 levels) following an easing of Spanish and global COVID-19 restrictions, and transport options are also subsequently being expanded according to demand, as well as the frequency of services – especially during the high summer season.
Several bus routes connect the airport to Murcia city, Cartagena, La Manga, Mar Menor, Mazarrón and Águilas; and there is a taxi rank for Murcia.
As for trains, on 19 December 2022, the AVE high-speed rail line connecting Murcia and Madrid was officially inaugurated by prime minister Pedro Sánchez and King Felipe VI. The travelling time is just two hours and 45 minutes, and there are eight daily journeys.
Corvera Airport Murcia does not currently offer passengers a direct train service to and from the terminal.
