Passengers will have access to a total of nine routes operated by Ryanair at Corvera Airport Murcia this summer. The low-cost airline has announced that it will be boosting services from Birmingham (three weekly flights) and East Midlands (six), and offering six other international routes: Bournemouth (three weekly flights), Dublin (five), Glasgow Prestwick (two), London Luton (five), London Stansted (10) and Manchester (six). In addition, clients will be able to fly to Palma de Mallorca twice a week from Murcia.
“As Spain’s number one airline,” said country manager for Spain and Portugal Elena Cabrera, “Ryanair, is pleased to announce its Murcia flight schedule for summer 2023… offering Murcia customers/visitors even more options for their summer vacations at the lowest fares in Europe.
“For families looking to book their summer vacations, there is no better option than Ryanair’s industry-leading low fares, especially now that they can split the cost of their holiday by paying half the price now and half the price up to 40 days before departure when booking Ryanair’s Family Plus package, making family vacations easier for everyone.
“We look forward to welcoming our customers/visitors on board our flights to/from Murcia this summer as Ryanair continues to offer more traffic, connectivity and lower fares than any other airline in Spain.”
Corvera Airport Murcia’s other major low-cost operator, EasyJet, previously announced a new spring-summer route for Manchester, as well as three weekly flights between Murcia and London Luton Airport during the 2023 holiday season, while its winter schedule (officially running until 25 March) includes flights to and from London Gatwick.
In addition, TUI Fly operates routes between Ostend-Bruges, Antwerp and Brussels Charleroi, while Air Arabia flies to Casablanca and Oujda in Morocco and Binter offers three weekly flights between Murcia and Gran Canaria in the Canary Isles.
On 15 January, Corvera Airport Murcia celebrated its fourth anniversary since replacing San Javier as the international gateway to Murcia and the Costa Cálida.
