This week it was Corvera Airport Murcia’s turn to treat travellers to a special live entertainment show.
As part of a nationwide initiative by operator Aena, “Feel the Rhythm”, at more than 20 of its airports throughout Spain this summer, passengers waiting for their flights, or arriving in the Costa Cálida capital, were able to enjoy performances by dancers, singers, an actor and an acrobat.
Continuing from from 9 am on Tuesday until 8.30 pm, the shows were held in key points around the airport, following passengers’ movements to the boarding gates or exit and including genres for all ages and tastes, as well as raffles and gifts.
The artists featured were urban-style dance duo Color Fellas, actor Tony Blaya and the dance group Víctor Campos (with their shows “Embrujo flamenco” and “Wilkommen”), acrobat Lollypop and singer Laly Blue.
According to Aena, the main objective of the initiative – with the slogan “Live music in every corner of the airport” – is to improve the passenger experience during travellers’ transit through the airport’s facilities, by encouraging and promoting local culture.
